About Lip Boxes

We make printed packaging for lip products, sold through quotes rather than a catalogue. This page sets out how we work and, just as usefully, what we do not claim.

  • Lip products only
  • Quote based, made to order
  • No unverified claims

What we do

One category, done in depth, rather than a broad packaging catalogue.

Lip Boxes supplies custom printed packaging for lip products across the United States: folding cartons for balm, lipstick and gloss, rolled paperboard tubes, pressure-sensitive wrap labels, hanging retail packs, rigid gift boxes and bulk programmes covering a whole range.

Every item is manufactured to a die line drawn for a specific container. There is no size chart and no stock range. That is a constraint as much as a selling point: it means we cannot ship you something tomorrow, and it means the pack fits the product properly when it arrives. The full range is listed in the the full lip packaging catalogue.

How we work

Four commitments that shape how a project runs.

We quote the process that suits the job
Digital under a couple of thousand units, offset litho above it, and we will say plainly where the alternative would be cheaper for you.
Nothing prints without two written approvals
A die line and a colour proof. The production run is measured against the proof you signed off, and we keep it.
Trade-offs get stated, not hidden
A laminate improves durability and complicates recycling. Holographic board looks striking and is not paper-recyclable. Both facts belong in the conversation.
We recommend against things
If a rigid box is not justified at your price point, or a paper tube is wrong for your formula, we will say so before quoting it.

What we do not claim

Packaging websites are full of numbers that cannot be checked. We have left ours out rather than invented them.

You will not find a client count, a years-in-business figure, a production capacity, a customer logo wall, an award badge or a certification mark anywhere on this site. Not because none of those things could ever be true, but because we are not going to publish a figure we cannot substantiate to a buyer who asks.

The same applies to product pages. Where a dimension, a minimum quantity, a lead time or a certification depends on your specification, we describe what can be specified and confirm the actual figure in writing with your quote. There are no star ratings on this site either, because we do not have a verified review dataset to display — and a rating you cannot trace is worth nothing to you.

If a supplier quotes you a firm price, a firm lead time and a guaranteed minimum from a product name alone, ask what specification those figures assume. That question is usually informative.

Who this suits, and who it does not

Being direct about fit saves both sides time.

A good fit:

  • Brands launching or relaunching a lip product and needing packaging built around a specific container.
  • Ranges of several shades or scents, where one die line and one board serve the whole line.
  • Private label operations and contract fillers buying to a fixed structural specification.
  • Brands entering peg or clip strip retail and needing a pack that hangs reliably.

Not a good fit:

  • Anyone needing stock boxes shipped immediately, since nothing here is held in stock.
  • Packaging for categories unrelated to lip products, where a specialist in that category will do better.
  • Projects that need the supplier to own regulatory compliance, which remains with the brand.

Getting in touch

One email address, one form, and no call-centre routing.

Email [email protected], or use the quote request form linked from every page. Including dimensions and quantity in the first message is the fastest route to a real number rather than a list of questions.

Contact hours and what to include for different kinds of enquiry are set out on the contact the packaging team.

Working out whether we are a fit?

Describe your product and quantity. If we are the wrong supplier for it, we will say so rather than quoting work we cannot do well.

Price starts from $0.30 per piece for large-volume orders. Final pricing depends on size, material, printing, and quantity.
